"Following his degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from London College of Communication in 2006, London born and based artist Aaron Godwin-Lamptey's fervour for the tradition and provenance of painting prompted his decision to make painting his principal study. He has since held numerous solo and collaborative exhibitions.

From a young age classical painting and Impressionism were his particular loves and inspirations, with Aaron describing them as awakening his senses and deepening his emotions showing him the power that painting can have. His work is characterised by bold colour and strong imagery to create powerful and often subtly socially-conscious narratives.

His current collection explores the duality of dream and subverting ideas with elements geared towards the mysterious, evoking states of disorientation, unease and provocation."
